Yin Yang Yoga

Yin Yang yoga balances both the active and passive aspects of yoga. The first half of the class focuses on the active side with a combination of seated and standing asanas (poses) to develop strength and stamina. The second half of the class focuses on the more passive yin style, bringing you down onto the mat. Asanas are held for longer periods, about 2-3 minutes, to help lengthen and stretch the deep connective tissues.
